John Eichel
John Eichel Trucking Ltd., started out as Eichel Trucking which was founded by Norman Eichel. Eichel Trucking Ltd drove its first mile in 1948 in a 1948 Ford truck. For 66 years (2014) we have been proudly serving Canada and the United States.
Norman Eichel’s plan was simple: Customer Service. John Eichel who is now the owner (2nd Generation) follows his Father’s plan today. Norman started with only one truck 66 years ago, today John Eichel has a fleet of 20.
Where we are today
We are located near Grosse Isle, Manitoba which is soon becoming a suburb of the City of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our location consists of 10 acres of space to include the shop, office, compound and storage.
John Eichel is hands on with the movement of loads. He still drives today.
